2. Visiting the website and hosting The website is hosted by Alfahosting GmbH. When you visit, technically necessary connection data, particularly your IP address, the time and destination of the request, and browser and device information transmitted with it, are processed to deliver the pages. Technical logs may also be processed to investigate faults and protect against misuse.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the availability, stability and security of the website. Technical logs should be retained for the period necessary to investigate faults or misuse and then deleted unless legal grounds require further retention. The hosting provider’s actual logging configuration and deletion period must be verified before this working draft is finalised.
3. Contact by email or form When you contact us, we process your email address, name, message and any other details you provide. The form requires your name, email address and message; company and topic are optional. These data are used to handle and answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare or carry out a business relationship.
For enquiries concerning a contract with you or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are handled under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is appropriate communication with prospective customers and business contacts. Acknowledging the privacy notice in the form does not constitute consent to advertising.
Contacting us is voluntary and you are not legally required to supply these details. Without the necessary contact information and details, we may be unable to answer your enquiry. You may alternatively contact us directly by email. Please do not submit particularly sensitive information through the form.
4. Recipients and delivery The form currently transmits your information to FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which is intended to forward the enquiry by email to info@nautocon.de. Technically necessary connection data are also transmitted to that service. Alfahosting is used for website hosting and email services. Incoming emails are forwarded to a GMX mailbox; GMX is provided by 1&1 Mail & Media GmbH. Providers involved in delivery, transmission and receipt may process the data necessary for these functions.

Outstanding review: The available FormSubmit documentation is currently insufficient to reach a final conclusion about data processing arrangements, processing locations, deletion periods and any safeguards required for transfers outside the European Economic Area. This working draft does not confirm that this service has been integrated in compliance with the GDPR.
5. Retention Enquiry data should be retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any subsequent business relationship. Once this is complete, the data should be deleted unless statutory retention obligations or retention necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims apply. Data retained for these reasons should be restricted from use for other purposes. Business records subject to mandatory retention are kept for the applicable statutory period. Deletion also covers stored copies within the available deletion and backup procedures. Provider-specific retention periods must be confirmed before final publication.
6. Cookies, analytics and embedded content The supplied website code contains no analytics or advertising trackers and does not itself set cookies or use local browser storage. Page images, styling and scripts are served from the website’s own hosting space. Submitting the form contacts the external service described in section 4. That provider’s processing is included in the outstanding review. External links open the relevant destination only when followed.
7. Your rights Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18) and data portability (Article 20). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Right to object: Under Article 21 GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We will then stop processing the relevant data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is necessary for legal claims. You may object to direct marketing at any time without giving reasons.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR), particularly in the place of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. 8. Automated decisions and security The supplied website code does not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects and does not carry out profiling. Submit confidential information only over a working encrypted connection. Encryption throughout the entire email delivery route or within the recipient’s mailbox is not guaranteed.
